TikTok, Snapchat & Trending Social Media Deep Dive
Practical Training for Parents, Schools, Employers & Community Organisations
Your child may be using TikTok, Snapchat or the latest trending social platform, but how much do you actually know about what they see, who can contact them and how these platforms keep them engaged?
This practical session takes parents inside the apps children and teenagers are using.
We look beyond the headlines and show parents what these platforms actually look like, how key features work and which settings and conversations matter most.
By the end of the session parents and carers will understand:
- How TikTok and Snapchat actually work
- How algorithms shape what children see
- AI features and emerging platform trends
- How strangers and online contact can reach young people
- Practical settings and conversations to use at home

- Location sharing
- AI chatbots and AI features
- Influencers and online trends
